Z Composite

This operator allows you to composite a foreground image over a background image using additional depth (z) information. Z depth inputs can be .Zpic images or any grayscale images.

Requires an Background and Foreground Input (RGBA) as well as a Background and Foreground Z Depth input (A).

Produces an Output (RGBA).

Zcomp

Foreground Type

Specifies whether the foreground image is premultiplied or not.

Output

Specifies the output type:

Composite: outputs a composite of the foreground image over the background image.

Depth: outputs the combined depth information of the foreground and background images.

Edge Matte: outputs a matte of the image's edges.

Z Values Range

Controls the active range in which depth is calculated. A 2D image does not contain the same depth information as a 3D scene, so the Z Values Range translates Near and Far Focus values into values that fit into the 2D image's 0 to 1 range. The default value is appropriate for most cases.

Mask

Controls this operator's Mask Options.

Output
