Cluster Shape Combiner Property Editor

The Cluster Shape Combiner property is created automatically when you first store a shape key source.

To display: Select an object with shape animation then choose Properties on the Select panel and click the Cluster Shape Combiner node.

The Cluster Shape Combiner includes a Weight and a Overlap Weight parameter for each cluster that is driven by shape key clips.

For more information, see Mixing between Clusters [ Shape Animation ].

Normalize Cluster Weights

Controls how the Weight values are combined. When this option is off, shapes are combined additively. When this value is on, the weights are normalized, resulting in a shape that is in between the sources of the clips that affect the object at the current frame. This option has no effect on the Overlap Weight parameters.

ClusterName Weight

Controls how strongly the corresponding cluster is pulled by its shape sources. A value of 1 corresponds to the source shape. Lower values correspond to a shape between the reference and the source, while higher values correspond to an exaggeration of the source.

ClusterName Overlap Weight

Controls how strongly the corresponding cluster affects components that are shared with other animated clusters. These values are always normalized.
