Initialize Stadium Data

 
 
 

Sets initial values for stadium simulations.

This compound should be used in the Modeling region on the Point_Cloud object of a CrowdFX simulation, after particles are emitted.

Actor ID

The actor source instantiated by a particle, where 0 is the first actor added to the simulation, 1 is the second, and so on. See Loading Actors for the Crowd Simulation.

Pose State ID

The actors' pose state at the beginning of the simulation. This controls which animation source is used. See Creating a Pose State for Each Action Source.

Use Single Animation_Sources

Uses the imported animations from a single actor source, regardless of which source mesh is instantiated by each actor. To use this option, all deformation rigs must be compatible.

Source

The actor source whose animations to use, when Use Single Animation_Sources is true.

Initial Frame

Animation offset to apply at the beginning of the simulation. You can randomize this so that all actors don't start at the same frame.

How to specify the actors' base orientations:

  • From Emitter uses the actors' existing orientation from the emitters' Forward attribute.
  • Custom uses the value set below.

Custom

A custom axis-and-angle value for the actors' base orientations.

Randomize Start Angle

The lower bound of the offset from the base orientation.

Randomize End Angle

The upper bound of the offset from the base orientation.

Seed

This number is used as the basis for randomization. Change this value to get a different random pattern.

On Init

Connect execute-type ports to perform further operations when actors are initialized.
