Files saved with this release of Showcase support the changes that have been made since the 2012 release. Consequently, if you save a file with the R1 release, it can no longer be opened by prior releases, including 2012.
This feature is only available in the Professional version of Showcase.
Measure the distance between two points or two circle centerpoints. Also display the coordinates for a point. See Measure distances.
In addition to shots, slides can now be used when creating movies. See Create a movie from shots or slides.
In the Material Properties window, you can now rename an in-scene material by typing a new name in the Name field. You can also edit file path fields directly.
