Applying a shader to a model
 
 
 

Apply various types of shaders directly to models to obtain different effects.

To apply a shader to a model:

  1. Expand Shading Elements > Shaders in the Asset browser.

  2. Drag a Shader asset from the Asset browser onto a model in the Viewer window.

  3. From the contextual menu, select one of the following three choices.
    Option Description
    Replace All Select Replace All to remove all other shaders applied to this object and use the new shader.
    Replace by Type Select Replace By Type to replace all shaders of a certain type with the new shader.
    Append Select Append to add the new shader to any shaders already applied to the object.
