Camera Sequencer timeline and playback controls

The Camera Sequencer timeline and playback control area provides a numeric display of the current Camera Sequencer time range, the current time and a series of playback controls.

Sequence timeline

The Camera Sequencer timeline displays the sequence time. Dragging the vertical red Sequence timeline indicator changes the current sequence time, and updates the main Maya view accordingly. You can also change the sequence time using the playback controls.

The evaluation of the Maya scene from the sequence time is performed by setting the Maya time to the Maya time defined in the shot currently being used. The shot used is the uppermost shot defined in the Camera Sequencer at the current sequence time.
