Turn on ripple editing

Ripple editing in the Camera Sequencer is useful, for example, if you want to tweak the length of individual shots but maintain the overall spacing in your shot layout. When Ripple Edit is on, changes you make to one shot propagate to other shots, so that if you lengthen one shot, other shots move to maintain their distance from the modified shot.

To turn on ripple editing

  1. Do one of the following:
    • In the Camera Sequencer menu bar, enable the Ripple Edit option in the Edit menu.
    • Click on the Camera Sequencer toolbar.
