You can set animation layer modes as you create the layer, or you can change the modes using the pop-up menu or the layer node.
To set an animation layer to Additive mode
-click the layer and select Layer Mode > Additive from the pop-up menu.
To set an animation layer to Override mode
-click the animation layer and select Layer Mode > Override from the pop-up menu.
The layer name displays in bold to indicate it is in Override mode. The animation in this layer now overrides animation affecting the same attributes on layers above it in the stack.
To set an Override animation layer to Passthrough mode
-click an animation layer that is currently in Override mode, and select Layer Mode > Passthrough.
The animation layer is now in Override-Passthrough mode and you can adjust its opacity. See Override-Passthrough mode for more information.
To set the layer Accumulation modes
-click and select Scale Accumulation or Rotation Accumulation, then set the modes you want to use.
