Block Animation

Lets you animate spline primitive inside a lattice-like NURBS object. You can create this block structure from layers of identically sized NURBS planes. Each plane must be placed in parallel with all isoparms perpendicular to each other to form a uniformly spaced cube or block. You can then place this reference object around the primitives you want to animate. In most cases, you may need to create a patch reference (Pref) pose.

You can bind the primitives to the NURBS block and bake the information into XPD files. You can then animate the planes in any way as long as they do intersect each another. The primitives animate with he NURBS block.

Mask

Controls the strength of the modifier effect. You can use Mask to load a map that specifies how areas of the mesh surface are affected by the modifier.

Magnitude

Sets the strength of the block animation effect.

Blocks File

Specifies the location of the Alembic cache file that contains the animated block

Ref Block Frame

Specifies the frame that contains the reference position and shape of the NURBS object.
