Creates a closest point constraint. See Closest Point constraints.

Constrain > Closest Point >

Opens the Closest Point On Options window. This window contains the following options:

Input Position Locator

When on, a locator is created at the default input position. The default input position is the origin (0, 0, 0).

When off, no input locator is created, and you can set the input position manually by setting the In Position attribute on the closestPointOnMesh, closestPointOnSurface, or nearestPointOnCurve node. (See Edit closest point constraints.)

Closest Position Locator

When on, a locator is created on the mesh, surface, or curve to indicate the closest point relative to the input position.
