pymel.core.context.skinBindCtx

skinBindCtx(*args, **kwargs)

This command creates a tool that can be used to edit volumes from an interactive bind.

Flags:
Long name (short name) Argument Types Properties

The space in which the axis should be mirrored. Valid values are: “world” and “object”.
axis (ax) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 
The mirror axis. Valid values are: “x”,”y”, and “z”.
colorRamp (cr) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 
Set the values on the color ramp used to display the weight values.
currentInfluence (ci) int ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 
Set the index of the current influence or volume to be adjusted by the manipulator.
displayInactiveMode (di) int ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 

Determines the display mode for drawing volumes that are not selected, in particular which volume cages if any are displayed. 0 - None 1 - Nearby volumes 2 - All volumes

displayNormalized (dn) bool ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 
Display raw select weights (false) or finalized normalized weights (true).
exists (ex) bool ../../../_images/create.gif
 
Returns true or false depending upon whether the specified object exists. Other flags are ignored.
falloffCurve (fc) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 
Set the values on the falloff curve control.
history (ch) bool ../../../_images/create.gif
 
If this is a tool command, turn the construction history on for the tool in question.
image1 (i1) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
   
image2 (i2) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif

Contexts support up to three icons that represent the tool associated with the context.

If this is a tool command, name the tool appropriately.
symmetry (s) bool ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 
Controls whether or not the tool operates in symmetric (mirrored) mode.
tolerance (t) float ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif ../../../_images/edit.gif
 

The tolerance setting for determining whether another influence is symmetric to the the current influence.Flag can appear in Create mode of commandFlag can have multiple arguments, passed either as a tuple or a list.
