Use Mudbox and Photoshop together
 
 
 

You can work concurrently on the same texture map using Mudbox and Adobe® Photoshop® . This lets you use the wider range of image editing features in Photoshop and the 3D painting power of Mudbox.

  1. Launch Photoshop and Mudbox.
  2. Open the texture image you want to edit in both applications (Photoshop and Mudbox).
  3. To import any Mudbox-based edits made to the texture image into Photoshop, do the following:

NoteThe steps described above can be adapted for workflows between other image editing applications and Mudbox. The Refresh Selected feature updates the image in Mudbox with the most recent version saved on disk.
