New Curve

Changes mouse/stylus input to curve creation mode. Click in the 3D View to plot the points for a new curve. The resulting curve can be used as a guide or rail for the sculpting tools.

End Curve

Completes the curve and exits curve creation mode. To delete a curve, right-click on it in the Object List, and select Delete from the list of items that appears.

Close Curve

Attaches the beginning and end points on the current curve producing a closed shape.

Stroke On Curve

Draws a stroke automatically along the active curve. The intensity of the resulting deformation on the model (along the length of the stroke) is determined by the profile displayed within the Intensity Variation property for the curve. Options for Stroke On Curve include:

  • Equal Spacing - Plots equally spaced stamps along the curve.
  • Number of Stamps - Sets the number of stamps for the stroke.
NoteAn active curve has its control points visible. You make a curve active by selecting it from the Object List. The first point of a curve must be over the model for the stroke to be drawn. The previously selected brush tool is used with Stroke On Curve.
Duplicate Curve

Duplicates and offsets the active curve.
