Animation curves provide an accurate representation of a tool's relative behavior over time.
You can work with animation curves either in the Animation tab UI or in a Curve Editor view. The Curve Editor view offers a larger area to work in.
The following graphic shows the Animation tab UI Curve Editor.

The time cursor is displayed as a vertical yellow line and can be moved along the time range by dragging it. The time cursor position represents the current frame. You can move to any frame by dragging the yellow current frame cursor to the new frame number.
You can move the contents of the Curve Editor using the following keys while the cursor is focused on the Curve Editor:
Spacebar + drag.
Do one of the following:
Ctrl + Spacebar + drag
Up Arrow to zoom in and Down Arrow to zoom out.
Drag the horizontal separator located just above the tool UI up or down.
Drag the separator located between the Curve Editor and Composition Browser to the left or right.
To reset a separator to its previous location, you can move it manually or press Ctrl + click.
