KNOWN ISSUES:

  1. This update resolves some install and uninstall issues found when using DM211410 and 2016.0.4. It will work when applying to any combination of SP1, DM211410 and 2016.0.4. This update does not resolve the inherent install and uninstall issues in DM211410 and 2016.0.4.
  2. This update deploys AdImaging.dll version 20.1.107.21. To avoid additional install and uninstall issues, all other Autodesk applications should be updated to include this version.

SUMMARY OF ISSUES ADDRESSED

2016.0.6 Updates

  1. Copy Design Updates
    1. Performing drag and drop operations within Copy Design would result in Part Numbers not being updated.
  2. Performance enhancement for Job Processor DWF creation on IDWs with references to a large number of assemblies.
  3. When selecting a part in an Inventor assembly is was not being highlighted when viewing the Vault browser.
  4. Adding DWG file into "Plot Manager" dialog resulted in "Plot Data" displaying DWG only for "model", but displaying DWF for Layout1/Layout2.
  5. Resolved an issue where the error dialog "Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute" occurs when navigating Items.
  6. The selection to Queue an update would not persist session to session.
  7. Performing an Item import from a CSV file, containing multiple rows with the same item number, the item would not be created.
  8. When 'saving to central' on a Revit file with links, the upload to Vault incorrectly created a new version for all files including unmodified links.

2016.0.5 Updates

  1. AutoCAD XREFs could not be resolved...
    1. When using Copy Design for a parent DWG copied to a new folder without its XREFs.
    2. When performing a Move for a parent DWG moved to a new folder without its XREFs and additional attachments are created on the parent.
  2. Performing a Get on an Inventor assembly with substitute parts would sometimes result in a CER.
  3. When selecting 'Open from Vault' in AutoCAD, the error message "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: path1" is thrown if the working folder is mapped to the root of a drive.
  4. When mapping file properties with Classification = Standard, properties for files attached to Items were not being updated when performing Assign/Update Item.
  5. A duplicate file link to an Item could be created when an Assign Item is cancelled and the part is replaced in Vault prior to a second Assign Item.
  6. After a DTU import of files, items and BOM, some position were missing in the BOM in Vault.
  7. An enhancement to Project Sync that helps reduce intermittent and unpredictable connectivity behavior during syncs.
  8. Update to a security patch that address a vulnerability where a specially crafted raster image in a drawing can trigger unauthorized code execution.
  9. Unable to close Microsoft Excel files when Vault add-in for Excel is installed.
  10. Resolved an "Index was out of range" error when performing a 'Go To Item'.

2016.0.4 Updates

  1. The Outlook 2010 Vault add-in would crash when saving modifications in Folder Mapping.
  2. For some complex datasets, a performance enhancement speeds up the expansion of nodes or expand all in the Vault Explorer Uses pane.
  3. A correction for day and month preferences on date properties for Inventor files.
  4. Solved an issue with being able to download large files (>4 GB) using the Autodesk Thin Client.
  5. When performing a Copy Design using a link assembly, the assembly structure was not available.
  6. When logged into the Autodesk Thin Client as 'Read Only' and performing an 'Update Visualization', the status would indicate that the job was sent to the server but the job was never created.
  7. When performing Copy Design, Inventor functional properties could be lost for standard properties.
  8. During an Item update, an error message would incorrectly indicate that a part needed to be updated when its parent needed the update.

DM211410 Updates

  1. An enhancement to support more plotters.
  2. Resolved a Vault Explorer crashing when trying to modify an item in CommitItemEvent_Post.
  3. Includes a security patch to address a vulnerability where a specially crafted raster image in a drawing can trigger unauthorized code execution.
  4. Resolved an infrequent Lucene indexing issue where bad conversion of Vault property data causes indexing to run continuously.
  5. For non English languages, formatting conventions were not being honored in the default language for AutoCAD DWGs. This would cause numerics to be converted from 22.22 to 2222 or day and month values to be switched.
    1. This update applies to new data added to a Vault. Existing data will need to be checked out, edited and checked in to correct formatting.
    2. Mapping Text with Number or Text with Date: Works well when all clients and the server are in the same language-locale. With mixed locales values may convert in a manner that is not intuitive and may produce an undesirable result. Therefore, mapping Text with Number or Text with Date is only recommended when the server and all clients are working in the same locale.
  6. Assign/Update Item may break the link with an existing Item and create a new one;
    1. After renaming a file and updating the part number.
    2. When performing an Assign/Update Item with the Item in the WIP or Quick Change state.
  7. Assign/Update Item would incorrectly result in both primary and secondary sub component links to the same file;
    1. After deleting and recreating the same structure on a DWG.
    2. After recreating a file and overwriting it on a local disk.
  8. Copy Design Updates
    1. When mapping a file property to vault (File > Vault) the value could be overwritten back to the file.
    2. When a Vault configuration is imported, action rules in copy design may fail in some circumstances.
    3. Inventor functional properties could be lost.
  9. Autodesk Thin Client Updates
    1. When performing searches in Internet Explorer 11, a space character would resolve as a percent symbol.
    2. Disabled UDPs were still available in the selection list of Advanced Find.
  10. When making edits in Administrative Settings > Items tab, Assign Items > Duplicate Items settings would be lost when invoking the Item Enablement dialog.
  11. Vault Explorer hangs when performing a UDP edit for a boolean property type where the file being edited does not already have the custom iProperty present.
  12. No dialog was being invoked when right clicking on a record in a Change Order and selecting Change State.
  13. Enabling the "Disable Assignment for Design Document Files" option in Vault Settings > Items > Configure Settings could result in not being able to assign Items.
  14. A CER may occur when using the Windows clipboard then right clicking in Vault Explorer.
  15. Resolved an issue where Item BOM compare may fail with the message, "Given Key was not present in the Dictionary".
  16. When attempting to install Autodesk Vault 2016 SP1 with the Vault Office Add-In is installed, the installation attempt may result in an "Error 1904".
  17. When sending a document link (File > Send > Send link...) from an AVFS location, the URL cannot be opened. Error message: Server Error in '/AutodeskDM/Services' Application. The resource cannot be found.
    1. NOTE: This update requires a Web.Config modification. See installation instructions.
  18. A licensing update that prevents previous releases from consuming more than one license when connecting to a 2017 Autodesk Data Management Server.
  19. Editing or updating a property (with a numeric name) in Autodesk Vault could fail. The value does not change even though the edit operation is successful.
  20. Database performance improvement when performing a Get or Check Out for very large assemblies.
  21. Resolved an issue where AutoCAD may crash upon checking in a DWG, with multiple DWGs open, and visualization files are being created.
  22. Revit indexing may fail and Revit families cannot be found through a search.
