This Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2022 has the following known issue:
Adding a Country Kit to a Autodesk Civil 3D 2022 Deployment:
- The Autodesk Civil 3D 2022 install no longer supports the "Include additional software" feature. To deploy a Country Kit it is recommended that you use a network management tool such as Group Policy or SCCM.
Unsigned Executable File Message on Startup:
- Some Country Kits generate the following message on first start: "The publisher of this executable file could not be verified and the file is not located in a trusted folder. What do you want to do?". This is generated when the Country Kit contains tools that are packaged to load on startup. If you select "Always Load", the message for that tool will not reoccur. For Country Kits with more than one additional tool, this dialog will repeat for each. Alternatively, adding "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\" to the Trusted Paths in Options, will load the tools without generating a message.
Installation Re-running on Launch
- The Country Kit installer using a "Self-healing" msi in order to make it available to secondary user accounts that are not present at the initial install time. As a result, whenever a file that is included in the Country Kit is deleted, the install will rerun to replace the file. In some cases, a user will be prompted for the Country Kit's msi, which needs to be available to complete the file repair. If this occurs at every launch, please ensure that the user has write permissions to the locations that the Country Kit installs to.
Files Removed at Uninstall
- Uninstalling the Country Kit will result in removal of ALL files that were installed with the Country Kit. If you have modified any of the files that were installed as part of this Country Kit you must back them up prior to uninstall to prevent loss of those modifications.
