You can apply this Country Kit to the following Autodesk products running on all supported operating systems and languages.

This Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 consists of the following features:

• A MSI based installation package
  • The installation is standalone and is not added or removed through the Add content feature in the Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 installer.

  NOTE: This is different than the Country Kit installation procedure for version of Civil 3D 2019 and older.

  • To add this Country Kit to a deployment you must add it using the Include additionall software feature.

Germany Country Kit 2021.1 Update - Improved Functionality:

The Country Kit's startup template, "Autodesk Civil 3D 2021-1 Deutschland.DWT", has been updated with layers to support new/updated functionality.

The Germany Country Kit Ribbon:

• User interface optimizations
• Updated for new functionality

Sight Distance Band:

• Improved band for sight distance

OKSTRA^®:

• Improvements for handling of lines, arcs and text

Traffic Signs:

• Implementation of status for each sign/sign combination
• Color and black/white displaying of the traffic signs depending on the staus
• Labelling of the traffic signs

Superelevation from Existing:

• Usage of sample line groups now possible

This Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 has the following known issue:

There is a specific scenario where the Country Kit content is installed in default locations despite being configured otherwise.

This occurs when:

• The Country Kit is added to a deployment as additional software
• The deployment specifies "Support Content" locations other than "Local user profile folders"
• The Country Kit is the first instance of Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 launched on the workstation

The workaround for this issue is to launch another Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 profile such as "Metric" first, then launch the Country Kit.  In this case, the inital launch of the Country Kit will find the specified folders and place content properly.

Country Kit 2021.0.1 Update

• An issue has been resolved where in some installation configurations the following message was displayed and the installation fails: "Customization file load failed.  File not found:  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\C3D 2020\enu\Support\C3D"

As you prepare to install this Country Kit, keep the following in mind:

Back Up Custom Files

It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this Country Kit.

Administrative Privileges

To apply this Country Kit, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products. During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation file or a network image.

Network Deployment

Administrators can deploy this Country Kit over a network using the Deployment Wizard.

Close the Application

It is required that you close Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2021 before proceeding with the installation of this Country Kit.

Reboot

After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

Launching this Product

After you install, a shortcut for the Country Kit will be placed on the desktop.

• Apply This Country Kit to a Stand-Alone Installation
• Apply This Country Kit to a Network Administrative Image
• Uninstall This Country Kit

Follow these instructions to install this Country Kit on a single computer.

1. Close any open Civil 3D sessions.
2. Download the appropriate [Country Name]_Content_C3D_2021.msi to your desktop.
3. Double-click on the downloaded .msi, review the License Agreement, and then click Install.
4. Click Finish to complete the installation.

The following recommended method of distributing this Country Kit for Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2021 applies only to administrative images created with the Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 Network Installation wizard. After you complete this procedure, any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 will have this Country Kit applied to them automatically. For information on creating and updating a Network Administrative Image please see Workflow: Creating a network deployment.

To apply this Country Kit to an existing Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 administrative image:

1. Download this Country Kit and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. On the workstation where you initially created the Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 deployment, open the Tools folder and double-click the Create & Modify a deployment shortcut icon.
4. Follow the wizard to the product configuration screen and expand the Include additional software accordion.
5. In the Additional Software section, click Add and browse to the location you saved the Country Kit.
6. Collapse the Include additional software accordion and click the Create button.

Now any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 will have the Country Kit applied to them automatically.

This Country Kit can be uninstalled from the Apps and features Microsoft^® Windows^® settings page.

Follow these instructions to uninstall this Country Kit on a single computer.

1. Close all running Autodesk applications and make sure the installation source files are available.
2. If you have modified any of the files that were installed as part of this Content Kit you must back them up prior to uninstall to prevent loss of those modifications.
3. In Start > Settings > Apps & features, click on the Autodesk Civil 3D Country Kit you would like to remove and choose Uninstall.
4. In the Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 maintenance dialog box choose the Uninstall option.
