This update installs new Eaton content to Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2018 existing content database.

Content includes:

• Catalog database
• Footprint lookup database
• Library Symbols
• Inventor 3D files (If Autodesk Inventor professional 2018 is found installed)

Supported OS for Autodesk^® AutoCAD^® Electrical 2018:

• Windows 7 SP1 32-bit & 64-bit
• Windows 8.1 with Update KB2919355 32-bit & 64-bit
• Windows 10 64-bit

You must have at least 5 GB free disk space if you are installing full content update. This content pack includes Inventor 3D parts associated with catalog data from manufacturer.

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to apply this update. It is also recommended that you reboot your system before applying this update.

1. Download "ACADE_2018_EATON_Content_Update.zip" to a location on your local computer.
2. Extract the zip file on the same local drive folder.

3. Close Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2018.
4. Double click on "AceContentUpdate.exe".
5. Verify the target path of files & directory displayed in the dialog box. Change the path using browse option from the dialog box to locate installed symbol library locations & Inventor Electrical 3D model part location, if displayed paths are incorrect.
6. Click on "Install" button to add new content for Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2018 product.
7. This update creates a backup file of existing databases before appending new contents in existing databases.
8. Launch Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2018 and start working with updated Eaton content.

1. Close Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2018.
2. In the Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2018 installation, delete default_cat.mdb & footprint_lookup.mdb from "C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\Acade 2018\AeData\en-US\Catalogs" folder.
3. Rename default_cat.mdb.bak to default_cat.mdb, footprint_lookup.mdb.bak to footprint_lookup.mdb..
