This update installs new Eaton content to Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2016 existing content database.

Content includes :

• Catalog database
• Footprint lookup database
• Library Symbols
• Inventor 3D files (If Autodesk Inventor professional 2016 is found installed)

Supported OS for Autodesk^® AutoCAD^® Electrical 2016 :

• Windows 7 x32-Bit & x64 Bit
• Windows 8 x32-bit & x64-Bit
• Windows 8.1 x32-bit & x64-Bit

You must have atleast 800 Mb free disk space if you are installing full content update. This content pack includes Inventor 3D parts associated with catalog data from manufacturer.

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to apply this update. It is also recommended that you reboot your system before applying this update.

1. Download one of the following files to a location on your local computer:
   • For 32-bit & 64-bit Operating systems: use "ACADE_2016_EATON_Content_Update-2.zip"
2. Extract the zip file on some local drive folder.

Important Note for Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 users:

Right Click on "ACADE_2016_EATON_Content_Update-2.zip" to invoke file properties. Click on "Unblock" button from file properties to enable these file as trusted source.

3. Close Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2016.
4. Double click on "AceContentUpdate.exe".
5. Verify the target path of files & directory displayed in the dialog box. Change the path using browse option from the dialog box to locate installed symbol library locations & Inventor Electrical 3D model part location, if displayed paths are incorrect.
6. Click on "Install" button to add new content for Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2016 product.
7. This update creates a backup file of existing databases before appending new contents in existing databases.
8. Launch AutoCAD Electrical 2016 and start working with updated "Eaton" content.

1. Close AutoCAD Electrical 2016.
2. In the AutoCAD Electrical 2016 installation, delete default_cat.mdb & footprint_lookup.mdb from "..\Acade 2016\AeData\en-US\Catalog" folder.

• For Windows 7, Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 :

Catalog Database location : "C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\Acade 2016\AeData\en-US\Catalog"

3. Rename default_cat.mdb.bak to default_cat.mdb, footprint_lookup.mdb.bak to footprint_lookup.mdb.
