In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has provided this service pack for Autodesk Alias 2014 for Mac.

Alias 2014 SP3 can be applied to Alias 2014 or to Alias 2014 with SP1 or SP2.

Alias 2014 SR1-SP1 is only for Subscription customers and provides the same fixes as Alias 2014 SP3, but must be applied to Alias 2014 SR1 (Subscription Release 1), which is available on the Subscription site.

This file highlights how to install the service pack and describes the software enhancements provided in the release.

Summary of Issues Fixed in Subscription Release

The following list contains descriptions for issues fixed in this Service Pack.

• Alias product standalone licenses will fail to activate (error 110) if the product is installed on OSX 10.9.

• On OSX 10.9, Alias windows can display only on the same monitor as the main Alias window.

• Crash Error Reports (CER's) sent by Alias 2014 on OSX 10.9 are not processed by the CER server.

Installation Instructions - Mac

• You must have administrator privileges on your local machine.

• Note: There is now a Subscription Release patch available for Mac.

To install SP3 on Alias 2014 or Alias 2014 with SP1 or SP2

1.    Download the SP3 patch to a temporary directory on the workstation.

2.    Double-click the SP3 dmg file to open the install folder.

3.    Install Alias 2014 SP3 by selecting the relevant drive containing the Alias product.

To install SR1-SP1 on Alias 2014 with SR1

1.    Download the SR1-SP1 patch to a temporary directory on the workstation.

2.    Double-click the SR1-SP1 dmg file to open the install folder.

3.    Install Alias 2014 SR1-SP1 by selecting the relevant drive containing the Alias product.
