skinBindCtx( string , [about=string], [axis=string], [colorRamp=string], [currentInfluence=int], [displayInactiveMode=int],
[displayNormalized=boolean],
[exists=boolean], [falloffCurve=string], [history=boolean], [image1=string], [image2=string], [image3=string], [name=string], [symmetry=boolean], [tolerance=float])
Note: Strings representing object names and
arguments must be separated by commas. This is not depicted in the
synopsis.
skinBindCtx is undoable, queryable, and editable.
This command creates a tool that can be used to edit volumes from
an interactive bind.

Long name (short name) |
Argument types |
Properties |
exists(ex) |
boolean |
Returns true or false depending upon whether the specified
object exists. Other flags are ignored. |
image1(i1) |
string |
image2(i2) |
string |
image3(i3) |
string |
Contexts support up to three icons that represent the tool
associated with the context. |
history(ch) |
boolean |
If this is a tool command, turn the construction history on for
the tool in question. |
name(n) |
string |
If this is a tool command, name the tool appropriately. |
colorRamp(cr) |
string |
Set the values on the color ramp used to display the weight
values. |
falloffCurve(fc) |
string |
Set the values on the falloff curve control. |
displayInactiveMode(di) |
int |
Determines the display mode for drawing volumes that are not
selected, in particular which volume cages if any are displayed. 0
- None 1 - Nearby volumes 2 - All volumes |
displayNormalized(dn) |
boolean |
Display raw select weights (false) or finalized normalized
weights (true). |
currentInfluence(ci) |
int |
Set the index of the current influence or volume to be adjusted
by the manipulator. |
symmetry(s) |
boolean |
Controls whether or not the tool operates in symmetric
(mirrored) mode. |
axis(ax) |
string |
The mirror axis. Valid values are: "x","y", and "z". |
about(a) |
string |
The space in which the axis should be mirrored. Valid values
are: "world" and "object". |
tolerance(t) |
float |
The tolerance setting for determining whether another influence
is symmetric to the the current influence. |
