Thank you for downloading Autodesk® Entertainment Creation Suite 2015.

Autodesk® Entertainment Creation Suite is an array of specialized creative toolsets integrated to form a modern flexible pipeline for 3D animation and entertainment content.

This readme provides the latest information regarding the Entertainment Creation Suite 2015 installation. It is recommended that you read this entire document before you install Entertainment Creation Suite 2015. For reference, you can save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

This section provides a list of fixed bugs in this release. You can report any additional issues using the online bug reporting form.

ENCS-4826 Unable to export the projplanelockaspect parameter in Softimage to FBX.
ENCS-4830 Unable to correctly import the negative camera.projplanedist parameter in Softimage to FBX.
ENCS-4771 Unable to correctly export the image pixel ratio in Softimage to FBX.
ENCS-4585 Pivot information in FBX is not imported correctly into Softimage.
ENCS-4572 Softimage does not support the Z-Up axis system from FBX files.
ENCS-4603 The rotation value is slightly different after exporting from Softimage.
ENCS-4883 Meshes are corrupted when a scene is sent from Maya to Softimage.
MOBU-6017 The Lower Spine Correction HIK property is not working correctly in MotionBuilder.
ENCS-4764 The camera interest is deleted when a camera is sent from MotionBuilder to Maya.
ENCS-5636 A file sent to MotionBuilder from Maya opens in an already open MotionBuilder version instead of the 2015 version.
ENCS-5683 Cannot find the “Autodesk Media & Entertainment” preset when exporting and importing FBX files in 3ds Max 2015 IB2.
ENCS-4700 "Send to" in Maya does not work for products that are not installed in the default location.
ENCS-5656 Unnecessary shading groups are created when an FBX file is imported to Maya.
ENCS-4922 Hard edges/Skinning (Locked Normals) when importing an FBX file in Maya.
ENCS-5569 The FBX exporter crashes Maya if an object with a custom enum attribute has a value that ends in “=-1”.
ENCS-5515 Implement the conversion function from RrSs to RSrs in the Maya FBX importer.
ENCS-4926 Translate the image plane correctly from Maya to Mudbox.
ENCS-5099 Translate camera settings correctly from Maya to Mudbox so that the image planes match each other.

This section provides a list of known issues in this release.
 
ENCS-5725 Unable to install ECS with certain antivirus software.

Workaround: To prevent installation failure, disable your antivirus software before installing ECS.
MOBU-5992 Incorrect HIK solving on “leaf type” roll bones.
ENCS-5687 The cone angle of a spot light changes to zero when sent from MotionBuilder to Maya.
ENCS-5649 Unable to send an orthographic camera from Maya to Mudbox.
ENCS-5699On Windows 8, ECS installer failed because it doesn't include the dotnet45.

Workaround: Install .NET 3.5 manually from the Internet. Alternatively, make sure your system is connected to the internet for the installer to install .NET 3.5.
ENCS-5903ReCap Pro instead of ReCap mentioned in the 2015 Installation Help on the media of the ECS 2015 and its point-products.

Description: The Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite 2015 Installation Help included on the media of the Autodesk 3ds Max 2015, Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite 2015, Autodesk Maya 2015, Autodesk MotionBuilder 2015, Autodesk Mudbox 2015, and Autodesk Softimage 2015, mentions in several Installation and Licensing topics the Autodesk® ReCap™ Pro product instead of the Autodesk® ReCap™ product.

Customer Involvement Program (CIP)

The first time you start an Autodesk software product, the Customer Involvement Program dialog box appears. If you choose to participate in the Customer Involvement Program, the product will automatically send information about your system configuration, what features you use most, any problems that you encounter, and other information helpful to the future direction of the product to Autodesk. Customer Error Reports (CERs)

We are able to improve the stability of the Autodesk software products largely because of the Customer Error Reports (CERs) that users of our products submit. We thank you for taking the time to fill out these reports and ask that you include as much information as possible about what actions you were performing at the time the error occurred.
