The following problems are known when running Alias 9.0 on Solaris 7 / OGL 1.2:

Creator3D: Textures on polygons may not refresh properly in toggle shade mode.
If you encounter this behavior, track or tumble in view. The image will redraw correctly.

Elite3D: Texture colors on polygons may appear to be tinted in toggle shade mode with fast options on.
DispTgls->Shade->O-->Fast Options are enabled by default. When using toggle shade with polygonal objects, ensure that fast options are turned off.

A three button mouse is required.

At least 128 MB of RAM is required and 256 MB is recommended to run Studio for the Solaris(TM) operating environment.

Ensure that you load these patches as a minimum (the two-digit suffixes in their numbers should be the same or greater than the numbers shown).

The patches specified in this table are the patches that were used for the qualification process. While it may be possible to use Alias for the Solaris(TM) operating environment successfully with earlier or later patches, Alias cannot guarantee their performance or reliability.

It may be possible to successfully use Alias for the Solaris(TM) operating environment with a non-qualified configuration, but support and maintenance programs will be subject to the Alias Support Services guidelines.

Certain Sun Microsystems keyboards have layouts that might make marking menus and hotkey commands difficult to use. On these keyboards the Caps Lock and Control keys are reversed. If you have a Sun keyboard that does not have the Control key at the bottom-left corner and you find hotkeys or marking menus difficult to use, it is recommended that you order a replacement keyboard from Sun Microsystems.
