[6.4] Origin 200/2000 & Onyx2 Required Patch Set for S2MP+OCTANE

Note: This patch set is not intended for OCTANE systems. It is intended for Origin 200/2000 and Onyx2 systems. For OCTANE patch sets please use the patch set titled "OCTANE systems".

Users who take advantage of large page sizes for application test should
install the April 1998 patch set to avoid system crashes.
Under certain circumstances, problems may be seen when mounting resources
such as DOS filesysems or CD-ROM devices from another system over NFS. In a
similar vein, trying to execute programs off an NFS mounted partition in
a diskless configuration may fail. This problem is present in patch 2958
and is expected to be fixed in a new version of the patch. Users should
not install patch 2958 or revert to the previous patch until the new patch 
is available.

Do not install patch 2019 on Origin Systems. The symptoms of the problem can include system or network hangs. The issue is being worked in bugs 516917 and 517472.

IMPORTANT!

Patch 2715 is part of the June 1998 patchset but should NOT be installed. It has been replaced by patch 3135. It should be noted that patch 3135 is not included as part of the June patchset but is qualified to be used with Alias in conjunction with the June 1998 patchset. If you install patch 2715 you are very likely to encounter software instability and crashes.
