Note: This patch set is not intended for OCTANE
systems. It is intended for Origin 200/2000 and Onyx2 systems. For
OCTANE patch sets please use the patch set titled "OCTANE
systems".
Caveats:
Patches 2397 and 2694 have a problem that has
unintentionally caused the names of hardware path names on Origin 200s
to change. This problem has been logged as bug 549387 and will be fixed
in the follow-on kernel rollup patch to patch 2694. One visible effect
of this is that the I/O devices such as disks and tape will be
renumbered by ioconfig due to a change in the device names. This
problem will only appear on Origin 200s.
The workaround for this problem in the patch involves
changing all of the occurences of "MotherBoard" to
"motherboard" in the /etc/ioconfig.conf file. Administrators
should be extremely careful in making this change and should not change
or add anything else in the file. For example, assuming the following
line in your /etc/ioconfig.conf:

it would be changed to:
2 /hw/module/2/slot/motherboard/node/xtalk
Do not install patch 2019 on Origin Systems. The symptoms of the problem can include system or network hangs. The issue is being worked in bugs 516917 and 517472.
