Caveats:

Patch 1503 may appear to be a downgrade from patch 1357. It isn't and the installation should proceed.
If patch 1266 was installed prior to the installation of this patch set then "versions remove patchSG00001266". That really is four zeros.
If patch 1584 was installed prior to to the installation of this patch set then it is necessary to "versions remove patchSG0001584" to clean up the inst history.
If you are installing patch 1808 on an Onyx InfiniteReality, patch 1808 must be installed using the miniroot installation mechanism. Also, be sure to install all subsystems in the patch. Use the command "install patchSG0001808" from within inst. If you are not installing patches from miniroot, ensure that no parts of patch 1808 are selected to install. Failure to follow these instructions can cause the graphics to fail.
Patch 2119, and its successor kernel rollup patches 2187 & 2401 break single CPU DM's. Therefore single patchsets 7/1 or later (including the 1/1/98 patchset) This regression will be fixed in the 2/1/98 patchset.

INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATION:
IP19 - If the current patch set is earlier than the 7/1/97 set, Please install the 8/1/97 or later patch set

IP21 - If current patch set is earlier than 6/1/97 [June 1, 1997] then install the 8/1/97 or later patch set.

IP25 - If current patch set is earlier than 6/1/97 [June 1, 1997] then install the 8/1/97 or later patch set.
