Autodesk Alias 2019 Readme

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Autodesk^® Alias^™ 2019. This file highlights known issues in this release.

Modeling

3D Trim may not work in certain axes. (ALS-1761)
Solution: Assign the camera orientation.
G0 diagnostic doesn't work when aligning a surface to a curve. (ALS-3755)
Solution: Check the continuity in the Deviation table.
When you Trim Convert a surface while Cross Sections are ON with Global ON, no sections appear on the new surface. (ALS-2885)

Data Transfer

EDF export in Alias alters geometry. (ALS-1390)
Solution: Export as IGS and roundtrip to EDF.
Log file isn't created when saving as STEP format. (ALS-2967)

Miscellaneous

(Mac OS) Alias crashes when launching on Macbook Pro with High Sierra (10.13.2). (ALS-3730)
Alias VR Viewer crashes when launching on Windows 7 if the DirectX 11 driver is not installed on your computer. (ALS-4111)
Solution: Update DirectX with DirectX 11 for Windows 7 (64 bit).
