pymel.core.effects.stroke

static effects.stroke(*args, **kwargs)

The stroke command creates a new Paint Effects stroke node.

Flags:
Long name (short name) Argument Types Properties
name (n) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif
 
Sets the name of the stroke to the input string
pressure (pr) bool ../../../_images/create.gif
 

On creation, allows the copying of the pressure mapping settings from the Paint Effects Tool. Default is false. Flag can have multiple arguments, passed either as a tuple or a list.

seed (s) int ../../../_images/create.gif
 
Sets the random seed for this stroke.

Derived from mel command maya.cmds.stroke

Example:

import pymel.core as pm

pm.stroke( s=10, n='armScar' )
# Result: nt.Transform(u'armScar') #
