Turn the display for a paint layer on or off to avoid accidentally modifying it or to see how the model appears without the paint from that layer.

1. In the Layers window, ensure the display button is set to Paint.
2. Click the solid dot icon in the Visible column (below the eye icon) that appears beside the layer you want to hide.

   The dot displays as a hollow circle when the layer is not visible.
