Known Limitations

NOTE:Unless otherwise noted as fixed above, this release may also contain known limitations listed in earlier versions of Maya LT release notes.
Bug Number Description
Animation
MAYA-70686 Recommended drivers for GPU Override: Nvidia driver 361.75
Modeling
MAYA-71406 When undoing the reorder vertices operation, multiple undo actions may be necessary as Maya LT does not treat reordering vertices as a single operation.
User Interface
MAYA-67641 (Mac OS X) Once the following windows are undocked from the Hypershade, it is impossible to redock them:
  • Material Viewer
  • Viewport
  • UV Editor
  • Texture Baking View
  • Graph Editor

Workaround: Close the undocked window first, then reopen it from the Window menu of the Hypershade, and the newly opened window is dockable again inside the Hypershade.

MAYA-68574 Restore UI Elements hotkey is broken for Workspaces, which may result in incorrect docking of UI elements in the main window.
MAYA-69017 Saving a workspace with special characters may cause issues with the final name of the workspace
MAYA-71209

When using the Shift (or Ctrl) + spacebar hotkey to switch in and out of zoom-in (or full-screen) view, a crash may occur if a menu item in the panel has focus.

This typically occurs when the Script Editor is docked and you use this hotkey to switch out of zoom-in ( or full-screen) view after you click a menu to get focus.

Workaround: Move your mouse instead to the area beside the tabs (or beside the menu bar) and click the mouse to get focus; then you can use this hotkey again.

Customer Error Reports (CERs)

We are able to improve the stability of Maya LT largely because of the Customer Error Reports (CERs) that users of our products submit. We thank you for taking the time to fill out these reports and ask that you include as much information as possible about what actions you were performing at the time the error occurred. These details raise the value of the report immensely and are very much appreciated by the Autodesk Maya LT Engineering team.

For further information about CERs refer to http://www.autodesk.com/cer.
