MOBU-5142

No Quicktime and AVI video import and export support. User could use image sequence instead.

MOBU-67

Some MotionBuilder keyboard shortcuts may not work as expected under the KDE or Gnome environment. To fix: You can change the Linux default Alt key mapping to META (Windows) to enable the Alt-drag behavior in MotionBuilder. Depending on the KDE and Gnome versions, the methods of selecting the key bindings may differ. Refer to the KDE and Gnome documentation to customize the default keyboard shortcuts.

MOBU-5884

Check For Updates in Help Menu is not implemented for Linux.

MOBU-5142 LTC and Wacom devices are not supported.
MOBU-5885 Cannot open Tutorials on Linux. To fix: Permissions on the Tutorials folder need to be changed so MotionBuilder can write into this folder.

MOBU-5686

Viewer stops refreshing with modal popup. To fix: in Fedora, go to System -> Preferences -> Look and Feel -> Desktop Effects and choose Compiz instead of Standard.

Linux Install and Licensing
SELinux can interfere with certain install and license activation operations.  For example you might be unable to install and activate a MotionBuilder standalone license with SELinux running with default permissions.

If you encounter such errors,  disable SELinux by editing the file ‘/etc/selinux/config’ and setting the value of ‘SELINUX’ equal to ‘disabled’.  You will need to restart the SELinux service or reboot the system for changes to take effect.  Afterwards, continue with your installation or license activation as normal.
