Add polygons to an existing mesh

Create a polygon face with a hole

You can create a polygon face with a hole while using the Create Polygon Tool.

To create a hole in a polygon as you draw it

1. Place the points of the polygon by selecting Mesh > Create Polygon Tool.
2. Before you complete the polygon, press and click the first vertex of the hole. Click the remaining vertices without held down.
3. Press to finish the polygon.

   

   TipYou can also make a hole in an existing face using the Mesh > Make Hole Tool.
