[6.2] [Power] Challenge (DM,L and XL) and [Power] Onyx Required Patch Set

Patch 1503 may appear to be a downgrade from patch 1357.
It isn't and the installation should proceed.
If patch 1266 was installed prior to the installation of
this patch set then "versions remove patchSG00001266". That
really is four zeros.
If patch 1584 was installed prior to to the installation of
this patch set then it is necessary to "versions remove
patchSG0001584" to clean up the inst history.
Patch 2327 must be installed using the miniroot installation
mechanism.  Also, be sure to install all subsystems in the 
patch.  Use the command "install patchSG0002327" from within
inst.  If you are not installing patches
from miniroot, ensure that no parts of patch 2327 are 
selected to install.  Failure to follow these instructions can cause
the graphics to fail.
Patch 2777 has an incorrect statement of supported platforms.
   It should read:  
       1.1  Supported_Hardware_Platforms
       This patch contains bug fixes for all SGI systems supported
       in IRIX 6.2.
	   
Patch 2739 should be installed on Onyx/PowerOnyx RealityEngine2 and VTX, and 
Crimson RealityEngine. The software cannot be installed on other configurations.

INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATION:
IP19 - If the current patch set is earlier than the 7/1/97 set, Please install the 8/1/97 or later patch set

IP21 - If current patch set is earlier than 6/1/97 [June 1, 1997] then install the 8/1/97 or later patch set.

IP25 - If current patch set is earlier than 6/1/97 [June 1, 1997] then install the 8/1/97 or later patch set.

IMPORTANT!

Patch 2715 is part of the June 1998 patchset but should NOT be installed. It has been replaced by patch 3135. It should be noted that patch 3135 is not included as part of the June patchset but is qualified to be used with Alias in conjunction with the June 1998 patchset. If you install patch 2715 you are very likely to encounter software instability and crashes.
