In Name

Connect the name of the source polygon mesh, or a prefix to use with Reference.

Source Name

Reference

Specify the source polygon mesh. If anything is connected to In Name, it gets prefixed to the name specified here.

Transform

Mode

How the new mesh's point positions are transformed:

  • No Transform uses the raw point positions of the source mesh.
  • From Topo Input multiplies the point positions by the source's global transform. This means that the clone's and source's point positions are superimposed even if the clone is at the origin and the source is not.
  • From Other Object multiplies the point positions by the another object's global transform.

Other Object Name

Connect the name of another object to use to transform point positions.

Set Material from Source

Copies the Materials and MaterialID attributes from the source mesh. These attributes must already exist.

Note that object and cluster-based materials are not copied from the source mesh.

Texture Projection

Set Default Texture Projection

Copies the values from a texture projection or ICE attribute on the source mesh to another attribute on the clone that can be used as texture UV coordinates.

Source Texture Projection

A texture projection or ICE attribute on the source to use as texture UV coordinates.

New Texture Projection Attribute Name

The name you want to use for the attribute on the clone that can be used as texture UV coordinates.

Execute on Copy

Connect any execute-type nodes you want to run immediately after cloning.
