User Keywords

You can add keywords to namable elements such as objects, clusters, materials, image clips, and so on. This allows you to classify and identify elements according to any criteria you choose. You can use these keywords in your own customizations, such as custom filters.

In addition to the procedures described in this section, you can also search for objects by keyword as described in Finding Elements by Keyword [Interface and Tools].

NoteYou cannot set keywords on models imported by reference. However, you can set keywords on models before they are exported and imported into a scene.
