This window displays the first time you select Mesh > PTEX Setup from the main menu bar.

The basic instructions invite you to examine the sample texture pattern on your mesh, then use the PTEX Setup window (which displays simultaneously) to increase or decrease the resolution as necessary. The sample pattern displaying on your mesh is designed to make jagged texture edges as visible as possible, helping you define the right resolution. For more detailed instructions, see Prepare a model for PTEX painting.

Click Close when you are finished with this window. The PTEX Setup window continues to display until you click Done.
