You can transfer properties such as upper level detail, joint weighting, and sculpt layers, from one mesh to any arbitrary
mesh, regardless of topology or differing UVs.
This workflow is similar to map extraction.
- Align the source and target meshes as closely as possible in your scene.
- From the main menu, select .
- In the window that appears, select the model to receive the sculpt detail from the drop-down list.
Select a low resolution base mesh with no subdivision levels as the target.
- Select the source mesh with detail you want to transfer, and any other options you require.
- Click .
