Clear all Grease Pencil from the scene

When you're finished marking up a scene with Grease Pencil, you can clear all sketches before handing off the shot. You can delete all grease pencil frames in the scene, or delete only the frames on a specific camera.

  1. Right-click the Time Slider and do any of the following:
    • Select Grease Pencil > Delete Frames > All to delete all Grease Pencil images from the scene.
    • Select Grease Pencil > Delete Frames > <camera name> to delete only frames on a specific camera.
    • In some cases, you can select Grease Pencil > Delete Frames > greasePencilSequence<n> (where n is a sequential number) to clear any Grease Pencil nodes left in the scene but not parented to a specific camera.

(This can occur if you cut the last Grease Pencil frame in a sequence, or if you have created Grease Pencil frames on a temporary camera created with Panels > Look Through Selected.)

The following warning displays next to the Command line to indicate that Grease Pencil nodes are removed.

// Warning: line 1: Removing grease pencil node network

NoteThis warning displays when you delete frames from a single camera, even though Grease Pencil frames are preserved in the other cameras.
