pymel.core.system.imfPlugins

imfPlugins(*args, **kwargs)

This command queries all the available imf plugins for its name, keyword or image file extension. Only one of the attributes (name, keyword or extension) can be queried at a time. If no flags are specified, this command returns a list of all available plugin names.

Flags:
Long name (short name) Argument Types Properties
extension (ext) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif
 
image file extension
keyword (key) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif
 
imf keyword
multiFrameSupport (mfs) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif
 
multi frame IO is supportedFlag can appear in Create mode of commandFlag can have multiple arguments, passed either as a tuple or a list.
pluginName (pn) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif
 
imf plugin name
readSupport (rs) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif
 
read operation is supported
writeSupport (ws) unicode ../../../_images/create.gif ../../../_images/query.gif
 
write operation is supported

# returns plugin name corresponding to imf keyword

# returns true if this plugin key supports write operations

# returns true if this plugin key supports read operations
pm.imfPlugins( 'imfKeyWord', query=True, mfs=True )
# returns true if this plugin key supports multiframe input/output
