pymel.core.system.mouse

static system.mouse(*args, **kwargs)

This command allows to configure mouse.

Flags:
Long name (short name) Argument Types Properties
enableScrollWheel (esw) bool ../../../_images/create.gif
 
Enable or disable scroll wheel support.
mouseButtonTracking (mbt) int ../../../_images/create.gif
 
Set the number (1, 2 or 3) of mouse buttons to track.Note: this is only supported on Macintosh
mouseButtonTrackingStatus (mbs) bool ../../../_images/create.gif
 
returns the current number of mouse buttons being tracked. Flag can have multiple arguments, passed either as a tuple or a list.
scrollWheelStatus (sws) bool ../../../_images/create.gif
 
returns the current status of scroll wheel support.

Derived from mel command maya.cmds.mouse

Example:

import pymel.core as pm

pm.mouse( enableScrollWheel=False )

mouseEnabled = pm.mouse(scrollWheelStatus=True)

pm.mouse( mouseButtonTracking=1 )

numberOfMouseButtons = pm.mouse(mouseButtonTrackingStatus=True)
