Degrain/Denoise Setups Interchange
It is possible to import a Denoise preset from Smoke / Flame 2012 into the Lustre Degrain tool. It is also possible to import a Lustre Degrain preset in Smoke or Flame Denoise tool.
To import the Denoise preset in Lustre, make sure to save the preset in the "degrainpresets" folder located in the home directory of the application, inside the presets folder.
Lustre does not support the animation of degrain settings. When importing an animated Denoise preset, Lustre loads the values from the frame you had selected in the Flame or Smoke timeline when you exported the preset.
| Location | Hotkey | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Viewer | F6 | Resets the position of the viewers, when working in Dual View mode (Horizontal or Vertical Wipe). |
| Library, Media and other modal browsers | F5 | Refreshes content. Move the cursor over the area you want to refresh and press F5. |
Geom Link with GPU Acceleration
It is now possible to use the Geom link tools while GPU acceleration is enabled.
Playback Optimization for Colour Dissolves
When splicing continuous media and adding dissolves, playback performance is improved because Lustre does not have to read two streams of media from disk. This improvement also impacts stereoscopic timelines.
Timeline Navigation During Playback
It is possible to navigate from shot to shot with the keyboard Left and Right arrows while playing back timeline without stopping the playback.
Loading timeline with many shots now loads faster than previous releases.
However, if you import a pre-2012 cut file, the load time will not be faster. You must resave the cut in 2012 as a new cut which converts the cut to the new format. The new cut will then load faster than previous releases.
Timeline Information Field Option Saved in User Context File
The selected option for the Timeline information field is now saved in the user context file. Options are:
Trim Tool, Ripple Mode and Snap Options Saved in User Context File
The state of the Trim tool, Ripple mode and the Snap options are now saved with the user and project. Also, note that the state of these tools is kept when entering a container, matte container or multi-channel clip.
Read-Write Permissions on init.cfg
The init.config file now has rw-rw-rw permissions. You no longer have to become root to modify the file when you are logged in as a lustre user.
