You can use the Source Area Layout box to display one of the four players— the Source/Record Player, standard Player, fullscreen Player or the Triptych Player.

| Src/Rec | Display the Source/Record Player. Press Shift+Esc to toggle between the Source/Record Player and the EditDesk. See Viewing Clips in the Source/Record Player. |
| Standard | Display the standard Player. Press Esc to toggle between the standard Player and the EditDesk. |
| Triptych | Display the Triptych Player. You can also press Shift+Esc to toggle between the Triptych Player and the EditDesk. See Viewing Clips in the Triptych Player. |
| Fullscreen | Display the fullscreen Player. The Player menu options are rearranged to accommodate the large view area. Press Ctrl+Esc to toggle between the fullscreen Player and the EditDesk. Press Ctrl+spacebar and drag to the right to zoom in or left to zoom out. When using the fullscreen Player to play a 10-bit clip (HD resolution and above), the clip switches to 10 bit; when exiting the fullscreen Player, the clip switches back to the project's default resolution. |
