The Monochrome command quickly generates a monochrome clip.

To create a monochrome clip:

1. With Fx selected from the A/V Tools box, click Monochrome.
2. Select a channel from the Luminance box.
   
3. Select the source clip.
4. Select the destination in the Source Area or Record Area.

   The monochrome clip appears in the selected destination.
