Rendering Modes
Mudbox provides three rendering mode options:
- High quality - is the default method for
rendering items in the scene. This mode is always active unless you
choose one of the other two modes.
- Draft Rendering - displays polygon meshes as
points. By default, Draft Rendering turns on automatically when
moving the camera with 1 million or more polygons in the 3D View.
Draft Rendering can also be activated from the Display menu. To
increase the speed of interaction, increase the Draft Points option
under Preferences.
- Speed Review - takes advantage of the GPU on
your computer's graphics card to provides a fast render solution
for displaying meshes. Press the Spacebar to activate Speed Review.
Speed Review turns off and must be reactivated after sculpting.
Speed Review is not available in Mudbox Basic.
