What is the Mechanical Desktop Object Enabler?

The Mechanical Desktop Object Enabler is a freeware application that you can use to view 
Autodesk Mechanical Desktop drawing files on the following products:

AutoCAD® 2005
Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2005
Autodesk® Building Systems 2005
Autodesk® Civil 3D™ 2005
Autodesk® Land Desktop 2005
Autodesk Map™ 2005
Autodesk® Viz 2005
Volo View 3

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

(1) Download the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop 2005 Object Enabler to your hard drive.

(2) Double click on the setup.exe executable file. This will run the 
Autodesk Mechanical Desktop 2005 Object Enabler setup and installation instructions.

Limitations of the Mechanical Desktop Object Enabler

- When opening a Mechanical Desktop drawing file in AutoCAD you will not be able
to edit or save the file.
